The Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) is a global non-profit, non-governmental, international professional media organisation, founded in 1999.
Guided by our founding philosophy, PATWA is committed to supporting the sustainable development and growth of global travel and tourism.
Our scope spans destinations, hospitality, aviation (including airlines and airports), transportation (such as cruise liners and railways), online travel platforms, travel technology, and allied service providers worldwide.
PATWA actively collaborates with governments, organisations, and companies across both the public and private sectors.
We adhere to the core principles of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the United Nations (UN), and UN Tourism, reinforcing our commitment to responsible, inclusive, and sustainable tourism development.
